World Dairy Expo serves as a forum for dairy producers, companies, organizations and other dairy enthusiasts to come together to compete, and to exchange ideas, knowledge, technology and commerce.

In celebration of World Dairy Expo's 50th event in 2016, a history book was compiled to tell the story of this beloved event. The first few chapters of that book can be read here. 

TRADE SHOW: World Dairy Expo's 650-company Trade Show is an opportunity for producers to see cutting-edge technology and the latest dairy equipment. As the global dairy industry meets in Madison, leading researchers, technical experts and national sales representatives from around the world can be found at WDE. Dairy Cattle Show: 2022 marks the first year of a new breed show rotation and event schedule. Breed shows will be held Monday - Friday in 2022. 

World Dairy Expo is home to one of the best-known dairy cattle shows in the world. This is made possible by the numerous outstanding breeders, barn crews, owners, volunteers and so many others involved. In 2021, 2,306 head of cattle were housed by 1,566 owners representing 32 states, 5 Canadian provinces, Australia, Italy and the United Kingdom.
