2024 PAFP Conference: May 1 & 2

For the 2024 conference, the Planning Committee continues to strive to grow the PAFP conference and group overall. We wanted to bring you the speakers of interest and work on ways to expand the topics that we usually cover from year to year. Some of the changes included adding more breakout sessions throughout the conference.

We also worked on the additional sessions dedicated to those on the plant/lab side of processing to supplement the topics usually covered for those on the farm side. In the future we hope to continue this expansion for the conference topics to cover even more sectors of the food industry. We know that there are many different types of food processors in Pennsylvania and people who want to learn about the changes to the food industry that we hope to provide.

If you have not already please fill out this survey for the 2024 Conference and let us know how we did, as well as what you would like to see in 2025!

We have been working to put together post conference recap pages to gather all of the approved speaker information and slides after the conference. If you attended the conference in 2023 you should have received an email with the password access to this page where everything will be available.

2023 Conference: May 10 & 11

In the last few years, there have been a lot of changes. Changes in the industry, changes in regulations, and in so many different ways. So in 2022 we wanted to concentrate on getting ‘Back to the Basics’.

We wanted to revisit some of the requested topics like chemicals, inspection basics, and other topics. In hopes that we could help those that may be new to the industry and a refresher for those that have been around for years.

As an added benefit, beginning in 2022, we have been working to put together post conference recap pages to gather all of the approved speaker information and slides after the conference. If you attended the conference in 2022 you should have received an email with the password access to this page where everything will be available.

2021 Conference: May 12 to 13th - Virtual

With the postponement of the 2020 Conference, in 2021 we came back to a virtual meeting to keep everyone safe and provided the updates to the industry.

The conference was held over 2 days with different meeting sessions that included PDA and FDA updates, review of the FARM program, Global Dairy Markets, and other topics.
