FDA Posts Food Allergen Draft Guidance Document

At the end of November the FDA opened a recent Guidance Document for comments from those in the industry. Edition 5 of the Questions and Answers Regarding Food Allergen Labeling was released on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

A copy of the Guidance can be found on the FDA website HERE.

According to the FDA Website: “Although you can comment on any guidance at any time (see 21 CFR 10.115(g)(5)), to ensure that the FDA considers your comment on a draft guidance before it begins work on the final version of the guidance, submit either online or written comments on the draft guidance before the close date.
